A Snippet of My Journey

Growing up in a close-knit Alabama town, I learned the importance of hard work and building meaningful relationships. In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, I seized the opportunity to fulfill my entrepreneurial dream, birthing RW Leadership Coaching LLC with the core value of building relationships.

Academic Pursuits and Corporate Climb

At 17, I embarked on a transformative journey at the United States Air Force Academy. The leadership principles instilled there became the bedrock of my approach, seamlessly aligning with corporate leadership styles. While on active duty, I earned my MBA with distinction and served as an adjunct professor, teaching night courses in Finance and Management. Transitioning to Corporate America, I spent over two decades climbing the corporate ladder, achieving several executive positions, and becoming a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

From Navigator to Leadership

An academy graduate with a basic engineering background, I majored in behavioral science, aiming to be a well-rounded leader. I served as a navigator for over 9 years on special operations MC-130 aircraft. This helped me hone my ability to form effective teams and excel in high-pressure environments. My experiences in the Air Force laid the groundwork for my book, "Soar to Leadership Success: Lead Your Team Like An Aviator."

Family at the Core

I am a husband and father of six young adults in a blended second-marriage family. This helps me bring a unique perspective on uniting people. My work and dedication are a testament to the values instilled in me from my small-town upbringing and the emotional intelligence honed over three decades in the business world.
